BRAND STORY
Sobrii started in 2017, after founder Bob Huitema was looking for a way to enjoy great-tasting cocktails without the consequences of alcohol. Not being able to find what he wanted, he decided to make it instead. Growing up on a farm near Stratford, Ontario, and spending many years in Toronto working in the food and beverage industry, Bob drew on his experience and began the journey to create Sobrii 0-Gin, Canada’s first distilled non-alcoholic gin.
Today, Sobrii is distilled in small batches at a Stratford craft distillery. It uses quality natural ingredients, including Canadian Ginseng from Ontario, and has no artificial flavours, sugars, sweeteners or calories.

WHY SOBRII?
Sobrii means “sober” in Latin. By removing the alcohol, our products offer a way for health-conscious adults or the sober curious, to enjoy cocktails without compromising on taste or palette experience. We’re proud to support responsible drinking, and we think “non-alcohol” should be just as celebrated as “with alcohol”.
As more people become health-conscious and aware of the negative effects of alcohol, alcohol consumption is declining in Canada and around the world. For people who want to enjoy classic cocktails or drink socially without the alcohol, flavoured waters and other alternatives simply don’t cut it.

SOBRII 0-GIN
Distilled Non-Alcoholic Spirit
Sobrii 0-Gin is distilled using a traditional blend of botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander, all spice, star anise. Also added is Canadian Ginseng, grown in Ontario, to create a uniquely Canadian flavour and give a nod to our natural heritage.

Sobrii 0-Gin Tasting Notes
Aromas of juniper, pine, and ginseng come off the top. Flavours of bright acidity, pine, herbal bitterness and a slight bite from the coriander. The star anise and allspice round out the experience with the ginseng. Good mouthfeel that stands up to their alcoholic counterparts, and lingers in the finish.
Sobrii 0-Gin finishes clean with lasting acidity, and signature dryness one would expect from a London Dry style of gin.
SOBRII 0-TEQUILA
Sobrii 0-Tequila was inspired by artisanal tequila and mezcal distilleries in Mexico. Familiar tequila taste and heat are achieved by infusing agave with spicy jalapeno, hot black pepper, savoury coriander and Canadian ginseng.

Sobrii 0-Tequila Tasting Notes
Aroma of fresh jalapeno vegetable and spice, citrus, and subtle rosehip. Flavours of fresh jalapeno follow through with earthiness, and a warm spice of black pepper.
It finishes long, warm, and spicy with fresh ginger root and sweet citrus.
Sobrii 0-Tequila is best served chilled with a premium cocktail mix.
